1 | POSITION OVERVIEW

The Car Intersection is an emerging automotive hub that connects vehicle owners, service providers, and industry partners through a centralised network. We are seeking driven, self-motivated Independent Sales Contractors to join our growing team in the capacity of Lead Generator.

This is a commission-based, results-driven role suited to individuals who are entrepreneurial in nature, enjoy building relationships, and thrive in a target-oriented environment. The successful contractor will be responsible for generating qualified leads, registering service providers and members onto The Car Intersection platform, and converting those leads into verified revenue opportunities.

2 | KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The contractor shall be responsible for the following, as governed by The Car Intersection Commission Policy and Scorecard:

SERVICE PROVIDER ACQUISITION

• Identify, prospect, and engage qualified service providers including mechanics, workshops, dealerships, fitment centres, parts suppliers, and related automotive businesses;
• Conduct face-to-face visits and meetings with prospective service providers to present The Car Intersection value proposition;
• Complete and submit a Service Provider Intake Form for every engagement;
• Register interested service providers onto The Car Intersection platform and progress them through to verified conversion.

MEMBERSHIP ACQUISITION

• Identify and approach individual vehicle owners as prospective The Car Intersection members;
• Present membership benefits and services clearly and accurately;
• Complete and submit a Member Registration Form for every new member engagement;
• Convert registered prospects into active, paying members.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

• Actively build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads at all times;
• Attend networking events, community engagements, and industry gatherings to generate new leads;
• Identify cross-sell opportunities including vehicle sales, rentals, insurance, and finance referrals;
• Maintain up-to-date records of all engagements and submit required documentation timeously.

3 | MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

The following minimum requirements apply to all applicants for this role:

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate
• Proven ability to work independently and without supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and target-driven with a results-oriented mindset
• Own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence
• Access to a smartphone and basic internet connectivity
• Ability to work in a field-based, face-to-face sales environment
• Previous experience in sales, lead generation, or business development
• Knowledge of the automotive industry or related sector
• Existing network of automotive service providers or business contacts
• Experience with commission-based or entrepreneurial work models
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
