Interstat stationery is a leading South African stationery supplier established in 1992, renowned for its commitment to supplying a wide range of high-quality stationery products. With an impressive portfolio of over 100 brands and approximately 9,000 products, Interstat has grown into a key player in the stationery retail market. Our dynamic team of approximately 120 employees operates across 4 branches and 5 state-of-the-art warehouses, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our customers nationwide.
Interstat Stationery is seeking a driven, results-oriented Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales representatives, driving sales growth, developing strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the stationery sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor, and support a team of sales representatives
- Drive sales performance and achieve branch sales targets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key accounts
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Conduct sales reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Ensure excellent customer service and client retention
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery

Minimum Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales management role

- Experience within the stationery or retail industry will be advantageous
- Valid driver’s licence
- Computer literacy and strong administrative skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Matric required
- Degree will be advantageous
