Sales Manager / Growth Lead – Western Cape

Legal Hero Business (Pty) Ltd is an authorised Financial Services Provider distributing legal cost insurance products across South Africa. Our Western Cape division is the fastest-growing region in the business, and we're building out our field sales leadership to match that growth.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on, target-driven Sales Manager to take direct ownership of our Western Cape field sales team (Growth Heroes). This role reports to the Regional Director and is responsible for the daily management, coaching, and performance of the team, freeing up regional leadership to focus on corporate partnerships and channel growth.

You will be the driving force behind the team hitting its monthly application targets, week in and week out.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily and weekly management of the field sales team, including ride-alongs, coaching, and route planning
• Own and drive the team's weekly incentive rhythm and performance against monthly targets
• Recruit, onboard, and train new sales representatives to grow the team
• Manage underperformance directly, including formal performance conversations where required
• Report weekly to the Regional Director on pipeline, conversion, and team health
• Instil a culture of planning and consistency rather than end-of-month scrambling

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' management experience within Financial Services and Short-Term Insurance
• Proven track record managing target-driven sales teams, with demonstrable results
• Strong coaching and people-management skills, comfortable holding a team accountable
• Valid driver's licence (essential, role is field-based with daily travel)
• Must be able to supply contactable references from previous management roles
• Own reliable transport until a company vehicle is allocated (if applicable)

Pay: R15 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month

Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Sales Management : 3 years (Required)
• Insurance Sales Management : 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Drivers License (Required)

Location:

• Cape Town, Western Cape (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Preferred)
