Sales Manager New Vehicles - VW Germiston

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager for our New Vehicles division at VW Germiston. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for driving sales performance and managing the sales team, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. Your focus will be on promoting our new vehicle offerings and enhancing customer satisfaction within the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets for new vehicles.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective performance goals.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for business growth.
• Foster strong relationships with customers, delivering exceptional service and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, share best practices, and set objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing to create promotional campaigns that enhance visibility and drive sales.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of vehicles.
• Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Requirements

• Proven track record in automotive sales management or a related field, with a strong focus on new vehicle sales.
• Demonstrable experience in leading a sales team and achieving sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, including current trends and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable strategies based on insights.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in the Volkswagen brand or similar automotive brands is an advantage.
• Relevant sales certifications or training that enhance sales proficiency.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies that complement traditional selling techniques.
