Job description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team, drive revenue growth, and build scalable sales processes. The successful candidate will manage sales representatives, set targets, coach performance, and take ownership of meeting monthly and quarterly revenue goals.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can both sell and lead.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Representatives
Set sales targets and track KPIs
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue
Manage the full sales pipeline and forecasting
Recruit, onboard, and train new sales staff
Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions
Support reps with deal closing and key client negotiations
Maintain CRM accuracy and reporting
Identify new market opportunities and partnerships
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams

Requirements

3–5+ years sales experience, with at least 1–2 years in a management or team lead role
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
Experience managing KPIs and pipelines
Comfortable using CRM systems and sales tools
Ability to work independently and drive results
Matric required; relevant diploma/degree advantageous
Valid driver’s licence (if field-based)

Nice to Have

Experience in sales & construction/ building material field
Experience building sales teams from scratch
Strong outbound or B2B background
Existing professional network
