Sales & Marketing Specialist

Job Title: Sales Representative – Gauteng Location: Cape Town, South Africa

Purpose of the Role To represent KK Smart Living by performing a sales and service function within the SA commercial customer channels , ensuring strong brand exposure, sales growth, and customer relationship management .

Responsibilities / Accountabilities To develop brand exposure through the implementation of the following activities:

🔹 Regular customer sales & service calls in accordance with a structured call cycle.

🔹 Placement of stock orders to achieve sales targets.

🔹 Liaison between internal admin and customers on all queries (sales, technical, logistics, stock, etc.).

🔹 Back-order maintenance & updates to optimize sales volumes (ensuring stock level accuracy, pricing, and product range optimization).

🔹 Execution of agreed Key Account activities , including promotional campaigns, new product launches, and special projects.

🔹 Customer relationship management with key decision-makers (Buyers, Department Managers, Inventory Controllers) to secure additional orders and deals under the guidance of the Business Unit Manager.

🔹 Measurement and reporting on campaign success and promotional activities.

🔹 Report writing, proposals, and accessing sales data to facilitate customer service management.

🔹 Daily customer contact reports and activity tracking.

🔹 Maximizing product solutions across the KK Smart Living range , identifying opportunities to expand sales growth.

🔹 Distribute marketing material, provide training & technical support at the end-user level.

🔹 Support promotions and other sales activities to drive business growth, including potential weekend and public holiday representation at branches.

🔹 Update pricing and maintain customer master listings , ensuring the timeous implementation of price increases.

🔹 Assessment & collection of valid returns and repairs in line with the company’s returns policy.

🔹 Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities .

🔹 Participate in new initiatives and projects that contribute to the growth of KK Smart Living.

Professional Qualifications 📌 Tertiary qualification advantageous Experience & Skills Required ✔ Proven track record of sales growth , introducing new products, and developing sales channels.

✔ Ability to assist channel partners with specifications and provide alternative solutions.

✔ Strong leadership, analytical skills, and business acumen .

✔ Solution selling skills with a strategic, customer-focused approach.

✔ Clear communicator – strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

✔ Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).

✔ Knowledge of the smart security industry, IoT, and access control solutions (an advantage).

✔ Team player with strong work ethics and the ability to work independently.

✔ Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.

🔹 Good geographical knowledge of Gauteng and surrounding areas .
