This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys engaging with people, identifying opportunities, conducting market research and supporting business development activities in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our Sales Directors, Business Development Managers and various business units to ensure customer enquiries, leads, tender opportunities and vendor registrations are effectively managed and followed through.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to inbound customer enquiries via phone, email and website channels.
• Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential business opportunities.
• Research companies, industries and decision-makers to support sales growth initiatives.
• Process and track leads through Salesforce and other approved systems.
• Monitor and distribute relevant tender opportunities.
• Support supplier and vendor registration processes with prospective clients.
• Maintain accurate sales records, reports and lead tracking information.
• Collaborate closely with Sales Directors, Business Development Managers and operational teams to support customer acquisition activities.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service or a related field will be advantageous.
• 1 to 3 years' experience in a customer service, call centre, sales support or sales environment.
• Experience in a service-based industry will be advantageous.
• Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
• Exposure to lead generation, customer engagement, sales administration and business development support activities.
