Automotive Spare Parts Sales Representative
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Sales Representative to join our automotive spare parts business.
Main Duties
- Assist customers with identifying and purchasing the correct vehicle spare parts.
- Sell automotive parts such as ball joints, control arms, tie rod ends, brake components, suspension parts, filters and other vehicle spares.
- Use computer systems and supplier catalogues to look up parts and cross-reference part numbers.
- Prepare quotations and assist customers in-store and telephonically.
- Process sales and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with stock checking, receiving and organising parts.
- Maintain good customer service and build relationships with customers and workshops.
Requirements
- Matric preferred.
- Previous automotive spare parts or motor industry experience is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle parts is preferred but not essential.
- Computer literate and willing to learn our systems and electronic catalogues.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
- Able to work well in a busy sales environment.
Previous spare-parts experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
