DR Seamless Aluminium Gutters is the guttering division of Dezzo Roofing, a trusted,

owner-managed roofing company trading since 2000. We manufacture and install

seamless aluminium rainwater gutters and collection systems for residential,

commercial and industrial properties across KwaZulu-Natal. We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Rep to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on, front-line role combining sales, quoting, and operational management of our two installation teams. You will be the face of DR Seamless

Aluminium Gutters — generating and converting leads, measuring and quoting on-site,

coordinating on-site manufacture and installation, and ensuring both teams deliver

quality work on time, every time.

Main Functions:

• Respond to inbound enquiries promptly and professionally (phone, email, WhatsApp, website leads, walk-ins)
• Deliver on our promise of a free, no-obligation quote with fast turnaround
• Generate new business through site visits to homeowners, builders, contractors, architects, estate developers and body corporates
• Sell across the full product range: seamless aluminium gutters, downpipes, gutter guards, and gutter cleaning/maintenance services
• Advise clients on the benefits of seamless aluminium over PVC and traditional sectional gutters (durability, leak resistance, low maintenance, aesthetics)
• Follow up on all outstanding quotes and maintain an active sales pipeline
• Achieve monthly sales targets as agreed with management
• Conduct accurate on-site measurements of gutter runs, downpipe positions and roof drainage requirements
• Advise clients on gutter profile, colour options, downpipe placement, gutter guards and drainage solutions
• Prepare and issue professional written quotations within agreed turnaround times
• Ensure quotes are correctly costed
• Convert quotes to confirmed orders and hand over accurate job cards to the installation teams
• Plan and manage the daily and weekly schedule for two installation teams, including the mobile manufacturing unit
• Allocate jobs, materials and vehicles to teams each day
• Coordinate on-site manufacture of gutter runs (up to 30m continuous lengths) to minimise waste and rework
• Conduct site handovers and quality inspections on completed installations
• Resolve on-site issues, client queries and call-backs quickly and professionally
• Monitor team productivity, timekeeping and workmanship standards
• Ensure teams comply with health & safety requirements on all sites, including work at height
• Report weekly to management on sales, quotes issued, conversion rates, jobs completed and team performance

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Valid Code 8 (B) driver's licence and own reliable transport (or willingness to use a company vehicle)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in sales within the building, roofing, construction or related industry
• Proven ability to measure and quote on-site (experience with gutters, roofing,
• ceilings, aluminium or similar an advantage)
• Experience supervising or managing installation/site teams
• Computer literate: email, Excel/spreadsheets, and quoting on a phone or tablet
• Fluent in English
• Physically able to work on-site, climb ladders and take roof-level measurements

Education:

• High School (matric) (Preferred)

Experience:

• in sales within the building, roofing, construction industry: 3 years (Preferred)
• proven ability to measure and quote on-site: 3 years (Preferred)
