Job description
Agrinet is seeking a motivated Sales Representative for the Bellville area. The successful candidate will maximise the profitability of allocated accounts by building strong customer relationships and driving sales across our full product range.
Responsible for achieving sales targets:
- Orders Management

- Ensure orders are received in line with monthly budget targets
- Turnover Growth

- Increase turnover of existing customers through upselling and cross-selling
- Set and achieve overall revenue targets for each account
- Focus on “sell through” rather than “sell to” strategies

- Product Range Expansion

- Identify opportunities to win business where customers currently favour competitors
- Strengthen relationships to ensure customer loyalty and reduce competitor influence

- Keep customers informed of new products, promotions, and marketing programs
- Provide feedback to management on customer needs and responses

- Communicate proactively about any supply chain delays
- Assist customers with tenders and quotes when required
- Provide feedback on sales performance by product category
- Keep customers updated on rebate achievements

- Address and resolve customer complaints and queries effectively to ensure satisfaction
- Tracking & Monitoring

- Manage customer expectations regarding stock and delivery
- Track customer performance by month, quarter, and year
- Identify product categories requiring special attention

- Develop and demonstrate specialist knowledge of Agrinet’s products as well as competitor offerings
- Identify training needs and deliver relevant sessions highlighting product benefit

Strong understanding of key account management and general sales principles

Solid product knowledge across relevant categories

Willingness to travel

Minimum of 2 years’ proven sales experience in the retail, agricultural, or industrial sectors
Qualifications:
- National Senior Certificate
