SALES REPRESENTATIVES WANTED Build it Outeniqua – George, Western Cape
We are looking for two motivated Sales Representatives to join our team:
1 × Senior Sales Representative
1 × Junior Sales Representative
SENIOR SALES REPRESENTATIVE
We are looking for an experienced sales professional who understands the hardware and building materials industry and can build strong, long-term relationships with customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Prepare quotations and follow up on sales enquiries
- Assist customers with product selection and technical requirements
- Drive sales and achieve monthly targets
- Maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, developers, and other trade customers
- Stay up to date with products, pricing, and industry trends
- Provide excellent customer service from enquiry through to delivery
- Manage and grow an existing customer base
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience, preferably in hardware, building materials, construction, or a related industry
- Good knowledge of building materials and hardware products
- Proven ability to meet sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Self-motivated, energetic, and results-driven
- Valid driver's licence
- Computer literate
JUNIOR SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Key responsibilities:
- Assist customers with product enquiries and sales
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers
- Prepare quotations and process orders
- Follow up on quotations and customer enquiries
- Assist with product recommendations
- Support the sales team in achieving targets
- Learn and develop product and industry knowledge
- Provide professional and friendly customer service
Requirements:
- Previous sales or customer-service experience will be an advantage
- Interest in hardware, building materials, or the construction industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer literate
- Valid driver's licence will be an advantage
Pay: R12 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
Work Location: In person
