We supply leading retailers, pharmacies, health shops, practitioners, online platforms, and distributors across South Africa and internationally.

We are looking for an ambitious, results-driven Senior Sales Representative to establish and expand our presence throughout the Western Cape.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about sales, relationship building, and business development who wants to grow into a Regional Sales Manager position as the company expands.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development

• Identify and secure new retail customers.
• Grow sales within existing customer accounts.
• Introduce Neogenesis Health products into:
• Independent pharmacies
• Health shops
• Wellness stores
• Nutrition stores
• Natural remedy retailers
• Practitioners
• Sports supplement stores
• Develop relationships with buying groups and independent pharmacy networks.
• Achieve monthly new customer acquisition targets.

Account Management

Maintain strong relationships with existing customers by:

• Conducting regular customer visits
• Product training
• Merchandising
• Shelf optimization
• Stock rotation
• Managing promotions
• Identifying opportunities to expand product ranges
• Increasing average order value

Territory Management

Manage the Western Cape territory including:

• Cape Town
• Northern Suburbs
• Southern Suburbs
• Atlantic Seaboard
• Cape Winelands
• Somerset West
• Stellenbosch
• Paarl
• Worcester
• George
• Mossel Bay
• Knysna
• Oudtshoorn
• Surrounding towns

Occasional travel outside the Western Cape may be required.

Sales Targets

The successful candidate will be expected to achieve measurable KPIs including:

• Monthly sales targets
• New customer acquisition
• Existing customer growth
• Product line expansion
• Reorder frequency
• Customer retention
• Gross profit growth
• Monthly revenue targets
• New distribution opportunities

Daily Responsibilities

• Plan daily customer routes.
• Visit approximately 8–10 customers per day.
• Prospect new customers.
• Follow up on quotations.
• Collect orders.
• Introduce new product launches.
• Conduct in-store product training.
• Build strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Submit daily sales activity reports.

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be measured against:

• Sales revenue
• Gross profit
• New customers opened
• Existing customer growth
• Product range expansion
• Customer visit frequency
• Average order value
• Monthly reorder percentage
• Customer retention
• Route efficiency
• CRM accuracy

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Minimum 3–5 years of external sales experience.
• Experience within:
• Pharmaceuticals
• Nutraceuticals
• Vitamins
• FMCG
• Health & wellness
• Medical sales
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and driven.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, CRM systems).
• Valid South African driver's licence.
• Own reliable vehicle.
