About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships and developing new business opportunities.

You do not need extensive commercial insurance experience. If you have a strong sales background, a willingness to learn and the drive to succeed, we will provide product and industry training.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialist knowledge in commercial insurance and construction guarantees while building a rewarding sales career.

Key Responsibilities

· Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals and prospecting.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients.

· Identify clients' insurance requirements and introduce suitable solutions.

· Prepare and follow up quotations.

· Maintain accurate client records and documentation.

· Meet agreed monthly sales targets.

· Participate in ongoing product, compliance and sales training.

· Always Represent Momentum Edge Solutions professionally.

· Ensure all client files and documentation are accurate, complete, and compliant with industry standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent (Essential).
• Legally authorised to work in South Africa.
• Minimum of 12 months' sales experience in any of the following:
• Insurance
• Financial Services
• Banking
• Telecommunications
• B2B Sales
• Construction Sales
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident approaching new clients and generating new business.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office and email).
• Willingness to learn commercial insurance products and the FAIS regulatory environment.

Advantageous

• RE5 qualification.
• Commercial Lines experience.
• Personal Lines experience.
• Engineering Insurance experience.
• Construction industry experience.
• Existing network of business clients.
• Experience working for an insurance brokerage.

Documents Required

• A certified copy of their South African ID or valid passport and work permit (where applicable).
• A certified copy of their Matric certificate.
• Copies of any insurance qualifications (RE5, NQF, etc.), if applicable.
