Sales Representative

VACANCY: SALES REPRESENTATIVE (SR2026)

The Donald Brown Group, a dynamic and well-established organisation within the salt industry, requires a Sales Representative to join our team in Johannesburg.

We are looking for a driven and dynamic individual who will be responsible for developing and managing sales across multiple sectors, including hospitality, wholesale, industrial, agricultural, and manufacturing markets.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale, bulk, and industrial customers.

· Identify and secure new business opportunities within the wholesale and bulk salt market.

· Manage customer accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

· Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

· Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements with customers.

· Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries.

· Conduct regular customer visits and business development meetings.

· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

· Prepare quotations, sales reports, and maintain accurate customer records.

· Travel nationally as required; willingness to spend time away from home is essential

Knowledge and Skills

· Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary diploma or degree.

· Proven sales experience is essential.

· Experience within the Wholesale and Bulk industry will be advantageous.

· Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

· A valid driver’s licence is essential.

· Computer literacy is required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

· Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
