Job description
Drain Clean 24 is looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our team in Parow Industria, Cape Town. We provide liquid-waste management and drain-cleaning services to commercial, industrial and residential clients.
Requirements:
Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
Sales experience is required.
Industry knowledge in liquid waste, drain cleaning, plumbing, facilities management or a related field would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Confident communicating with clients in person, telephonically and by email.
Professional, reliable and well presented.
Willing to learn and complete company training.
Comfortable with cold calling, site visits and developing new business.
Able to follow up on quotations and maintain accurate sales records.
Basic computer and administrative skills.
Skills and competencies.
Prospecting and lead generation, including cold calling and identifying new business opportunities.
Consultative selling: understanding client needs and recommending suitable services.
Clear verbal and written communication in Afrikaans and English.
Relationship building and professional customer service.
Confident presentation of services, pricing and quotations.
Negotiation, objection handling and closing sales.
Quotation follow-up, sales pipeline management and accurate record keeping.
Target driven, self-motivated and resilient, with a consistent follow-up approach.
Strong planning, time management and ability to manage site visits independently.
Basic computer literacy, including email, spreadsheets and CRM or sales-tracking systems.
Attention to detail and the ability to learn technical service information.
Professional judgement, reliability and a well-presented manner.
Training provided:
The successful candidate will receive training on Drain Clean 24's services, equipment, pricing and technical specifications.
