Sales Representative

CAPGEM Training and Development PTY LTD, an established training provider, is looking for 2 experienced Sales Representatives to join our team in Durban.

We are looking for motivated and results-driven sales professionals with a strong understanding of the training and skills development industry.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business environment.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience working within or with the training industry, with a sound understanding of the training and skills development environment.
• Previous sales experience in the training industry will be highly advantageous.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• Own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to meet clients.
• Proven ability to generate leads, develop new business and maintain strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work towards and achieve sales targets.
• Traceable employment references.
• Must be based in Durban or surrounding areas and have the ability to travel as required.

About the Role

The successful candidates will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective and existing clients, presenting CAPGEM's training solutions and converting opportunities into sustainable business.

This is a sales position and not a facilitator role. Candidates must have practical knowledge of the training industry and understand the types of training and skills development solutions businesses require.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Generate leads through proactive sales activity and networking.
• Build and maintain relationships with businesses and decision-makers.
• Present CAPGEM's training solutions to prospective clients.
• Prepare and follow up on proposals and quotations.
• Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate client records.
• Meet agreed sales targets and business development objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for additional business.
• Attend client meetings and industry-related networking opportunities.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is driven, professional, commercially minded and confident in dealing with business clients.

The successful candidate should understand the training environment, be comfortable with business development and have the ability to turn relationships and opportunities into measurable sales results. A basic salary of R7500 - R8500 and a competitive commission structure would be available to the successful candidates.
