Sales Representative

Interstat stationery, a leading South African stationery supplier established in 1992, known for its unparalleled commitment to supplying a wide range of high-quality stationery products. Our dynamic team of around 120 staff members works across 4 branches and 5 state-of-the-art warehouses to ensure that our clients receive nothing but the best.

Interstat stationery is looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). This role requires a proactive individual with strong sales skills and a passion for building lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

? Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.

? Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.

? Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

? Present and demonstrate our products to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and features.

? Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

? Provide after-sales support and address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.

? Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

? Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, be self-disciplined, and able to work independently while managing a designated sales territory. A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Job Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate is essential.
• Minium of 2 years' experience in sales.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Sales & Marketing or a related field will be advantageous.
• Proven experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in the stationery or related industry.
• Strong understanding of sales techniques and principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
