Job description
Freedom Stationery is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Sales & Marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring excellent customer service within the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers and buyers.
- Manage customer accounts, call cycles, and store visits.
- Promote Freedom Stationery products, promotions, and new product launches.
- Resolve customer queries and provide exceptional after-sales service.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and customer information.
- Manage, coach, and support Merchandisers within the allocated region.
- Monitor merchandising standards, product availability, pricing, and promotional displays.
- Conduct joint customer visits with Merchandisers and provide ongoing coaching.
- Identify market opportunities and grow existing customer accounts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, or a related qualification.
- Previous experience in sales and customer relationship management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer literacy and reporting skills.
- Valid South African driver's licence.
