Job Title: Sales Representative Richards Bay

Department: Sales & Distribution

Reporting To: Sales Manager

Direct Reports: Merchandisers / Promoters (in-store)

1. POSITION PURPOSE

Executes the regional sales strategy by servicing existing retail/wholesale accounts, acquiring new business, and ensuring optimal visibility and shelf presence for all Frimax products.

2. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs) & RESPONSIBILITIES

KPA 1: Route Execution & Calling
Strictly adhere to the daily call cycle and route plan. Visit supermarkets, wholesalers, and spaza shops to secure orders and ensure consistent stock availability.

KPA 2: In-Store Execution & Merchandising
Ensure Frimax products are prominently displayed according to planograms. Negotiate for prime shelf space, end-caps, and promotional displays.

KPA 3: Customer Relationship Management
Build strong, proactive relationships with store managers and buyers. Resolve customer queries regarding stock, pricing, and deliveries swiftly.

KPA 4: Sales Targets & Reporting
Achieve monthly volume and revenue targets. Submit daily sales reports and gather market intelligence on competitor pricing and new product launches.

3. ROLE REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES

Education: Matric / Grade 12 (Sales or Marketing certificate advantageous).

Experience: 2-3 years of field sales experience in the FMCG/snack industry.

System Expertise: Proficiency in mobile ordering applications and basic MS Excel.

Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of the Consumer Protection Act.

Driver’s License: Valid Code B driver's license with a clean driving record.

Core Competencies: Persuasive communication, high energy, resilience, and strong negotiation skills.
