Sales Representative – Talisman Hire Kimberley

Talisman Hire Kimberley, a leading equipment and machinery hire company based in Kimberley, Northern Cape, is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team.

About the Role
You'll be the first point of contact for customers hiring tools, plant, and equipment — helping them find the right solution for their construction, mining, industrial, or DIY needs, while building strong, lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Assist walk-in and telephonic customers with equipment hire enquiries and bookings
Recommend suitable equipment based on customer requirements
Process quotes, contracts, and hire agreements accurately
Follow up on leads and maintain relationships with regular and new clients
Meet monthly sales targets and contribute to branch growth
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our equipment range and rates
Liaise with the yard/workshop team to ensure equipment availability

Requirements

Matric certificate (relevant sales/business qualification advantageous)
Previous sales experience, ideally in hire, retail, or a related industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Target-driven with a customer-first attitude
Computer literate (MS Office / hire management software)
Valid driver's licence advantageous
Based in or willing to relocate to Kimberley

Pay: R8 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
