Sales Representative: New Vehicles - VW Kempton Park

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative for new vehicles at VW Kempton Park. In this role, you will play a critical part in engaging potential customers, showcasing our latest vehicles, and driving sales through exceptional service and product knowledge. As a key member of our sales team, you will contribute to meeting monthly sales targets while delivering a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in the showroom and online to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
• Provide detailed information about our range of new vehicles, including features, specifications, and financing options.
• Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives to highlight product benefits and performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies.
• Collaborate with team members to share best practices and promote a supportive sales environment.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact to vehicle delivery, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory customer experience.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and product knowledge to better serve customers and inform sales strategies.

Requirements

• Proven track record in sales, preferably in the automotive industry or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with diverse customer profiles.
• Strong negotiation skills and a customer-centric approach to sales.
• Demonstrable experience in using CRM software and sales tools to track leads and sales performance.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a dealership setting, particularly with new vehicles.
• Background in automotive product knowledge, including specifications and features of various models.
• Relevant sales certifications or training programs completed.
• Familiarity with financing and leasing options available in the automotive market.
