About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our team at VW Vereeniging, focusing on new vehicle sales. In this customer-centric role, you will engage with potential buyers to understand their needs, showcase our latest offerings, and drive sales through excellent service and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Actively promote and sell new vehicles, highlighting features, benefits, and financing options.
• Conduct product demonstrations and test drives, effectively communicating the value of our vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process to ensure a positive buying experience.
• Follow up with leads and maintain a current pipeline of prospects.
• Collaborate with the dealership team to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business goals.
• Stay informed about new vehicle models, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in CRM systems.

Requirements

• Proven track record in sales, preferably in the automotive industry or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
• Demonstrable experience in customer service and relationship building.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a results-oriented mindset.
• Basic understanding of financing options and vehicle specifications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certification or qualification in sales, marketing, or automotive sales.
• Experience with digital sales tools and social media marketing.
• Knowledge of Volkswagen products and services is an advantage.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clients.
