About the Role
Contact Electrical Supplies is looking for an experienced and driven Sales Representative to join our team in Durban. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with an existing customer base and experience in the industrial electrical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, maintaining strong customer relationships, and growing sales within the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
* Promote and sell our range of industrial electrical products.
* Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
* Prepare quotations and follow up on customer enquiries.
* Conduct regular customer visits and provide excellent customer service.
* Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities.
* Work closely with the internal sales and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Provide regular sales reports and pipeline updates.
Minimum Requirements
* Previous external sales experience in the industrial electrical supply industry.
* An existing customer base and established industry relationships will be a strong advantage.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Strong sales and closing ability.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Valid South African driver’s licence.
* Own reliable vehicle (required).
* Own laptop (required).
* Own smartphone (required).
* Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office and email).
