About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our team at VW Kempton Park, specialising in used vehicles. In this role, you will focus on building customer relationships and driving sales of our pre-owned vehicle offerings, ensuring a seamless experience for buyers from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to identify their vehicle needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Conduct thorough presentations and demonstrations of used vehicle inventory, highlighting key features and benefits.
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
• Process customer inquiries, providing accurate information on vehicle availability, pricing, and financing options.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the automotive market and competitor offerings to enhance customer conversations.
• Foster long-term relationships with customers through follow-ups and post-sale engagement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the sales process.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements

• Proven track record in automotive sales or a related retail sales environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple customer interactions.
• Basic understanding of financing options and insurance as they pertain to vehicle purchases.
• Proficiency in using sales management software and CRM systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close sales effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Volkswagen vehicles or previous employment at an automotive dealership.
• Relevant sales certifications or training.
• Understanding of digital sales tools and online marketing strategies.
• Multilingual abilities are an advantage.
