Job description

Role Purpose

Lead the shop-floor experience as the first point of contact. Set the bar for product expertise, solution selling, and customer trust, while coaching teammates and consistently delivering on sales targets without compromising HULA’s premium experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Customer leadership: Welcome and triage every visitor; set a warm, consultative tone; manage hand-offs to tech/install teams.

· Needs analysis: Qualify quickly (vehicle model, roof type, load needs, passengers, trip type, security, budget).

· Category mastery: Be the in-store expert for roof boxes, tonneau covers, bicycle & roof racks, side steps, and travel accessories; explain fitment, load ratings, warranties, and care in clear language.

· Demo & fitment confidence: Demonstrate products; arrange safe mock fits; schedule installations and deliveries.

· Solution selling: Build bundles and upsells (e.g., roof box + cross bars + locks; bike rack + straps; tonneau + bed mat).

· Pipeline & follow-up: Prepare quotes, capture leads in CRM, and convert backorders/special orders with timely follow-up.

· Merchandising excellence: Keep displays immaculate and accurate; execute planograms and seasonal campaigns; maintain hero-category visibility.

· Operations: Open/close duties, cashing up, stock counts, and daily checklists; escalate defects, damages, and customer feedback.

· After-sales care: Troubleshoot common issues; process returns/exchanges; coordinate warranty claims with suppliers.

· Coaching & leadership: Mentor technicians and administrator; role-model HULA standards; act as keyholder/shift lead when required.

Pay: R15 000,00 - R18 000,00 per month
