Sales Person
Salary Range: 16k–20k rand per month
Join a growing electric vehicle charging solutions provider and play a key role in expanding its customer base through high-volume outbound prospecting. You will connect with property decision-makers, introduce valuable charging solutions, and schedule qualified meetings for the internal sales team while building momentum in a fast-growing industry.
What You'll Do:
- Research target properties and find the appropriate decision-makers using CoStar, ZoomInfo, and similar tools.
- Make approximately 80 outbound calls per day and deliver a clear, brief introduction to the company’s electric vehicle charging services.
- Identify interested prospects, answer basic questions, and schedule qualified meetings for the sales team.
- Record call outcomes, notes, and follow-up actions in the company’s CRM.
- Send templated follow-up emails, marketing materials, and calendar invitations.
- Continue following up with interested prospects until a meeting is scheduled or a final decision is received.
Who You'll Work With:
Be an integral part of a fast-moving electric vehicle charging solutions team, working closely with supervisors and internal sales representatives to identify qualified opportunities, coordinate prospect handoffs, and support continued business growth.
Who We're Looking For:
- Professional: Polished, personable, and someone prospects feel comfortable speaking with.
- Communicator: Clear, confident, and natural on outbound calls, with strong spoken English.
- Persistent: Comfortable making a high volume of calls, navigating gatekeepers, following up, and handling rejection.
- Organized: Keeps accurate CRM notes and manages follow-up dates consistently.
- Resourceful: Able to find the right contacts and move conversations forward.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable learning sales tools and new systems.
- Location: Must be located in South Africa.
- Experience: General work experience is required. Experience speaking with Americans is a plus, but not necessary.
