Role Description
Sales Representative (Door-to-Door)
We are looking for a motivated and confident Sales Representative to help grow our customer base. You will introduce our services to homeowners, explain our pricing and service options, answer customer questions, and generate new business through door-to-door sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door sales in residential areas.
- Introduce the company and promote our gardening services.
- Explain service packages and pricing.
- Hand out flyers and promotional materials.
- Book customer quotes and appointments.
- Collect customer contact information for follow-up.
- Build positive relationships with potential customers.
- Meet monthly sales targets.
- Provide daily reports on sales activities and customer feedback.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) preferred but not essential.
- Previous sales or customer service experience is an advantage but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, confident, and persuasive personality.
- Self-motivated and target-driven.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable walking for extended periods while canvassing neighbourhoods.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to speak English; additional local languages are an advantage.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and honest.
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
The following would be an advantage, but are not required. We encourage motivated candidates with little or no sales experience to apply, as training will be be provided.
- Previous sales, customer service, or retail experience.
- Experience with door-to-door sales, direct marketing, or lead generation.
- Basic knowledge of gardening or landscaping services.
- Experience using messaging or productivity apps for reporting and communication.
Pay: R2 000,00 - R6 000,00 per month
