Position Purpose As a Salesperson, you are our frontline brand champion. Grounded in our commercial philosophy, your job is to turn foot traffic into sales conversion by greeting floor guests dynamically, leveraging superior product knowledge to solve customer needs, maximizing transaction values via add-on sales, and maintaining high housekeeping and merchandising standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactive Customer Engagement: Greet and connect with customers on the floor within 30 seconds, using consultative probing questions to pinpoint their styling needs.
• Target & Commission Driving: Hit individual daily and monthly sales, margin, warranty, and store finance target metrics by closing floor transactions successfully.
• Product Knowledge Application: Actively complete regular e-learning models to convert product design specifications into attractive lifestyle customer benefits.
• Floor Merchandising Excellence: Maintain allocated department layouts, ensuring all stock is correctly barcoded, labeled, clean, and neatly packed per the company manual.
• Asset Protection: Secure store stock by practicing vigilant floor coverage, executing accurate counts, and calling out risk behaviors to protect margins.

Requirements & Competencies

• Education: Matric (Grade 12 / NQF Level 4).
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in high-energy retail sales (experience in home textiles, décor, or furniture is a significant plus).
• Core Skills: Selling and closing skills, clear verbal communication, numeracy, and active technology navigation (tablets/sales pipelines).
• Competencies: Persuading and influencing, delivering results, and meeting high customer service expectations.
