We’re Hiring! | Sample Shop Assistant| Ackermans Support Centre, Kuilsriver Are you passionate about retail, customer service, and bringing energy into every task you do? We have an exciting opportunity for a Sample Shop Assistant to join our team at the Ackermans Support Centre in Kuilsriver .
As a key part of our shop team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering an excellent shopping experience while supporting daily operations in-store .

Qualifications And Level Of Experience Required
- A Grade 12 certificate/Matric
- Previous experience in a similar role/s within the clothing and or textile industry would be an advantage
- Understanding standard operating procedures within the sample shop

- Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service to give customers a great shopping experience
- 5 star customer service principles
- Cashier Duties
- Process Card Payments
- Process New staff accounts
- Reporting discrepancies and problems to the Supervisor
- Till balancing
- Merchandising
- Process to separate damaged and non-damagedstock
- Count Stock
- Check that price tickets are always in stock
- Correct Pricing of stock
- Attractive Displays of stock
- Correct Hanger Inserts
- Correct Departments
- General Housekeeping
- Maintain overall cleanliness
- Boxes stacked safely and neatly
- Clear walkways
- Products neatly aligned
- Be alert and report any suspicious activity or shoplifiting
- Reporting time to Supervisor
- Incident Accuracy
- Ad Hoc Duties
- Support the Sample Shop Supervisor with ad hoc duties / direct instructions when operationally required
