Job description
Overview The main objective for this role will be to assist the QA Manager in the QFS lab, work on the production lines to ensure quality checks and Food safety checks are done on the product, to ensure that Food safety and Quality documents are completed correctly and filed at Production as well as other ad-hoc quality administrative duties assigned by the QA Manager. To ensure GMP inspections are conducted throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Sampling & testing of raw materials, packaging & finished products
- Capturing key quality and food safety data (written & electronic)
- Safe and hygienic application of lab and factory procedures
- Conduct internal GMP and foreign matter inspections
- Function as part of Quality and Food Safety Team
Qualifications
- Grade 12 NSC
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices in the Food Production Industry
- Knowledge of the Food Safety Standards (FSSC, AIB)
- Computer Literate (Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms PPT,TEMPO)
- 2 years minimum experience in a Food Manufacturing Industry in QFS Department
