Scaffold Erector
Qarah Holdings — Witbank, Mpumalanga

Qarah Holdings is hiring an experienced Scaffold Erector to join our team. You'll build, modify, and dismantle scaffolding systems on active construction and industrial sites, working to strict safety and quality standards.

What you'll do

Erect, alter, and dismantle tube-and-fitting, system, and/or cuplock scaffolding to specification
Read and interpret scaffold drawings and site plans
Inspect scaffolding regularly and tag it correctly (green/yellow/red)
Load and unload scaffold materials safely
Work at height using fall-protection equipment
Follow all site safety procedures and toolbox talks

What we're looking for

CETA-accredited scaffold erector certificate (SAQA US 263245) — non-negotiable
Clear police clearance certificate (required, or willing to obtain one before starting)
[5+] years of experience erecting scaffolding
Comfortable working at heights in all weather conditions
willingness to use company-issued PPE
Valid driver's license [if required]
Reliable, safety-conscious, able to work as part of a team
