About Us

ToplineX builds B2B revenue growth engines that help companies generate predictable pipeline. We design and run signal-driven outbound systems (email, LinkedIn, and phone) that identify the right accounts, reach them at the right time, and turn them into qualified sales conversations. Our clients range across the B2B spectrum, typically selling high-value or complex offerings where a fast, thoughtful human touch turns interest into booked meetings.

We're looking for an SDR to own the pipeline: every positive reply, inbound lead, and past conversation, turned into held meetings.

What You'll Be Doing

You will work directly with the founder and own everything that happens after a prospect shows interest.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring campaign inboxes and responding to positive replies within 15 minutes during working hours
  • Calling interested prospects to qualify them and get the meeting booked
  • Running multi-touch follow-up sequences (email, phone, SMS) over several days with prospects who showed interest but didn't book
  • Maximising show rates: confirmations, SMS and email reminders, and re-engaging no-shows to get them rebooked
  • Re-engaging inbound leads, older lists, and people we've spoken to in the past
  • Keeping the CRM clean and up to date, with short daily activity updates and weekly pipeline reporting
  • Supporting the founder in the sales motion: pre-call research, post-call follow-ups, chasing proposals
  • Over time, taking ownership of outreach campaigns and building proactive plays to reach the right people at the right time

Goal: no interested lead ever goes cold. You own the gap between "positive reply" and "meeting held" so the founder can focus on sales calls and strategy.

What Success Looks Like

  • Speed to lead: positive replies answered within 15 minutes during working hours
  • Meetings booked, and more importantly, meetings held
  • Show rate of 75%+ through tight confirmation and reminder sequences
  • A pipeline where every lead has a next step and nothing slips through the cracks

Who Is This Role For

This role is perfect for someone who:

  • Has worked in an SDR, BDR, or appointment-setting function before
  • Is comfortable and confident picking up the phone and speaking to senior, high-value prospects
  • Wants ownership and responsibility for the pipeline, not just task execution
  • Understands the world of GTM and lead generation (cold email, outbound, how agencies work)
  • Is proactive: spots opportunities and acts on them without being asked
  • Likes working in fast-moving startup environments

Required Skills & Experience

Must have:

  • Experience in an SDR, BDR, or appointment-setter role (B2B preferred), with results you can point to (meetings booked, show rates, campaign reports)
  • Confident cold and warm calling: able to handle objections and convert a conversation into a booked meeting
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Understanding of B2B outbound and lead generation fundamentals
  • Comfortable using AI tools in your daily work
  • Strong attention to detail and disciplined follow-up
  • Ability to work autonomously once direction is given
  • A professional remote setup: quiet workspace, headset, reliable computer, stable internet, and backup power/internet so you're never offline during working hours

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience running automated outbound yourself (Instantly, Smartlead, Lemlist, Clay, or similar)
  • Experience with LinkedIn outreach or social selling
  • Experience writing or improving outbound and follow-up sequences
  • Experience with CRMs and dialers

Working Styles & Expectations

  • Full-time remote role
  • Working hours aligned to US business hours, worked live (speed to lead is the job, so this is not a batch-work role)
  • Fast execution environment with direct founder collaboration
  • Short daily check-ins on Slack, weekly pipeline reviews
