Job description
You'll pick up the phone, run WhatsApp, and book demos with independent dealer principals across South Africa (and the UK from month 3). Paul closes. You feed him. You get paid on every closed deal, forever.
What we're actually selling
TruDealer is a shipped, working platform — 8 core apps, 8 widgets, running live at Cars on Caledon, Your Car Guy and MKR Auto Sales. Kredo integration means we can verify every trade-in with background + accident + valuation data before the car hits the floor. That's the wedge. That's what closes deals.
What your day looks like
- 60–80 dials/day on CloudTalk against a pre-tiered, pre-researched call list
- 15–25 WhatsApp DMs to warm 1st-degree contacts and inbound replies
- 4-hour reply SLA on every inbound (WhatsApp, phone, email)
- Book 15–20 conversations per week → 5–8 demos land on Paul's calendar
- Log everything in HubSpot. Weekly review on Friday, we look at numbers together
What we're looking for
- Dealer fluency (non-negotiable). You've worked in a dealership. Used-car sales, F&I clerk, lot manager, service advisor, BDC. If you can talk about lead-to-drive times, trade-in swings and DMS pain without Googling it, you're in.
- Phone hunger. You've done 50+ dials in a day and don't hate it. Cold outbound doesn't scare you.
- WhatsApp-native. This is SA. Most conversations happen in WhatsApp. If your reply time to family is 4 hours, this isn't for you.
- English + one of: Afrikaans, Zulu, Xhosa. Dealer principals span all three.
- Own laptop and reliable data. We supply the CloudTalk seat and HubSpot license.
What we don't want
- Career SaaS SDRs who can't tell a Fortuner from a Hilux. Product knowledge matters more than SDR badges.
- Anyone who needs a script read verbatim. We give you the wedge. You bring the voice.
- People who send resumes into black holes and hope. This job is about picking up the phone. Prove you can.
