Seasonal Warehouse Operator

1 October 2026 – 31 December 2026

We’re loading up our squad for peak trade, when orders are flying, stores are busy, customers are shopping and the pressure is ON. This is your chance to be part of the movement and play a key role in getting GALXBOY product where it needs to be — accurately, efficiently and in great condition.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

1. Product Inspection & Order Accuracy

• Inspect merchandise to ensure that items and quantities match the order.
• Confirm no products are missing, damaged, or defective.
• Perform quality checks before, during, and after packing.

2. Warehouse Distribution & Retail Fulfilment

• Manage the distribution of inventory from the warehouse to retail stores, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Ensure proper packing methods to prevent damage during transit.

3. Shipping & Receiving

• Use scanning equipment to track and verify inventory.
• Sign for incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of received merchandise.
• Ensure timely dispatch of orders.

4. Warehouse Organization & Inventory Management

• Load, unload, move, stack, and arrange merchandise in a safe and organized manner.
• Maximize warehouse storage space through strategic merchandise placement.
• Assist in inventory control and management tasks as required.

5. Customer Satisfaction & Problem Solving

• Ensure customers receive their orders in satisfactory condition and on time.
• Self-identify issues or mistakes, recommend solutions and work with others to resolve them.
• Provide constructive feedback to colleagues and management for continuous improvement.

6. Compliance & Productivity Standards

• Adhere to company productivity and quality standards.
• Meet or exceed performance goals for speed and accuracy in picking, packing, and shipping.

7. Additional Duties

• Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Matric (Compulsory), higher education is advantageous.
• Experience in retail and/or warehouse settings preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, switched-on, organised and ready to get stuck in.

You need to be able to move with speed, pay attention to the details and keep the energy up when peak season gets hectic.
