About You

As a General Worker in Stock Control, you will be a versatile team member responsible for various tasks across different work environments in the warehouse. You are well versed in the process of picking and packing allocated orders daily in a warehouse environment

Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing a wide range of tasks as assigned by managers and supervisors. This may include but is not limited to organizing, preparing work areas, loading, unloading, stock handling and cleaning.
• Organize and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Help in moving materials and equipment within the workplace using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Assist in counting, sorting, and organizing inventory as needed. Help in maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Assist in inspecting products or materials for defects or damage, reporting any issues to managers.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any safety hazards or concerns promptly.
• Perform ad hoc duties and assist across departments as required by the Manager or Team Leader.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Matric.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and recording information.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to varying job duties.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours if required.
• Available immediately.
