Portfolio Manager – Sectional Title & HOA
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and professional Portfolio Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and has a solid understanding of sectional title and homeowners' association management.
As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential communities, ensuring excellent service delivery, sound financial management, and compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Sectional Title schemes and Homeowners' Associations (HOAs)
- Prepare, monitor, and manage annual budgets
- Attend and facilitate AGM, SGM, trustee, and committee meetings
- Build and maintain positive relationships with trustees, owners, and service providers
- Resolve disputes professionally and effectively
- Ensure compliance with the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act, HOA constitutions, and other relevant legislation
- Oversee maintenance, contractor performance, and general administration of assigned portfolios
- Prepare management reports and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing residential complexes, sectional title schemes, or HOAs
- Strong knowledge of Sectional Title and HOA management
- Sound financial understanding, including budgeting and financial reporting
- Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational, administrative, and time management abilities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Own reliable vehicle and transport (essential)
