Job description
SECURITY ALARM CONTROLLER WANTED
Requirements
- PSIRA registered, Grade C or Higher
- Previous alarm monitoring/control room experience.
- Experience with alarm monitoring systems
- Good communication skills and telephone skills
- Computer literate
- Able to work under high pressure and make quick decisions
- Accurate report writing and record keeping
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Willing to work shift, weekends, and public holidays
- Must have watch manager experience
Duties include
- Monitor and respond to alarm activations
- Dispatch and coordinate armed response officers
- Communicate with clients and response team
- Monitor CCTV and other security systems
- Record and report all incidents accuratley
- Escalate emergencies to the relevant authorities when required
