Security Controller

SECURITY CONTROLLER VACANCY

We are looking for an experienced, disciplined and proactive Security Controller to join our operations team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily security operations across multiple sites
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms and security alerts
• Review recorded footage following incidents or security breaches
• Support and communicate with site supervisors and security officers
• Conduct site checks and assist with operational coverage when required
• Respond to and escalate incidents appropriately
• Ensure accurate incident reporting and proper shift handovers
• Assist with investigations and identify security weaknesses
• Ensure site procedures and company policies are followed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Valid PSIRA registration – minimum Grade C, preferably Grade A
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in the private security industry
• Control room, supervisory or operational experience preferred
• Good CCTV monitoring and footage review experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate with good report-writing skills
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents
• Reliable, disciplined and punctual
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Valid driver’s licence advantageous

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of operations and does not simply wait for incidents to be reported. The successful candidate must be proactive, alert and capable of identifying potential problems before they develop into serious incidents.

The position requires someone who understands that effective security control involves constant communication, monitoring, follow-up and accountability.

Pay: R5 000,00 - R6 000,00 per month
