Seasonal Driver – TSEC Security

TSEC Security is looking for a reliable, professional and service-minded Seasonal Driver to join its team during the busy summer season.

This position combines driving and vehicle care. The successful candidate must be registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA) and have their own reliable vehicle to travel to and from work.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of professional service and is comfortable working in a busy environment.

The Role

As a Seasonal Driver at TSEC Security, you will be responsible for providing safe, punctual transport services and supporting the daily operational requirements of the business.

You will ensure that company vehicles are clean, presentable and ready for use while assisting with other duties as required.

This is a hands-on position requiring flexibility, reliability and a willingness to assist wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

Provide safe, professional and punctual transport services

Carry out scheduled transfers, collections and deliveries

Wash and clean company vehicles, ensuring they are always presentable and ready for use

Conduct routine vehicle checks and report maintenance or safety concerns

Ensure vehicles are fuelled and prepared for trips

Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service

Assist with additional operational duties as required

What We’re Looking For

Valid PSiRA registration – mandatory

Grade 12 or equivalent

Valid South African driver's licence

Clean driving record

Previous driving experience, preferably in a professional transport, security or service environment

Professional Driving Permit (PDP) advantageous, subject to the legal requirements of the assigned duties

Own reliable vehicle essential, as company vehicles may not be taken home

Good knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding areas

Strong communication skills and a professional, service-focused approach

Reliable, punctual and comfortable working independently

Good personal presentation and attention to detail

Availability to work extended shifts, weekends and public holidays during the summer season

Please note: This position is with TSEC Security. Valid PSiRA registration is mandatory and applicants without it will not be considered.
