Security guards

Patrols buildings, grounds, or assigned areas Monitors surveillance cameras and alarm systems Controls access at entrances (checking IDs, visitor logs, or permits) Ensures safety rules and procedures are followed Responds to emergencies like theft, fire, or medical incidents Reports suspicious activity or incidents in written reports May detain suspects (depending on company policy and local law)

Good observation and attention to detail Ability to stay alert for long periods Basic communication and report writing skills Physical fitness (for standing, walking, or responding quickly) Ability to handle stressful or emergency situations calmly.

Grade 10–12 education, Security training and registration (in South Africa, PSIRA registration is usually required) Clean criminal record Good physical condition

Pay: R6 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• High School (matric) (Preferred)

Experience:

• Security guard: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Psira/grade c certificate (Preferred)

Location:

• Pretoria, Gauteng (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Required)
