About the role
The Grade B Security Officer will report directly to the Compliance Officer and will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with the Site Job Description, while supporting the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the site.

Inherent requirements for the position (non-negotiable)
- Matric (Grade 12)
- PSIRA Grade B registration
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the security industry
- 3–5 years’ experience liaising directly with clients on security-related matters
Additional demonstrable requirements:
- Sound knowledge of security industry regulations and operational requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and personal presentation suitable for a client-facing role
- Ability to compile and submit detailed reports
What you will be doing:
- Enforce the Company Disciplinary Code of Conduct
- Ensure efficient and effective operation of the site
- Handle and resolve staff and client complaints professionally
- Perform all duties in line with the Site Job Description
- Take a proactive approach to security-related matters
- Communicate effectively with staff, clients, management, and the public regarding security requirements
