Security Officer

Location: Denlee, Germiston

Reports To: Security Supervisor

About the Position

We are seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Guards to join our in-house security team. Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of residents, visitors, staff, contractors, and the property while delivering a high standard of customer service within a high-rise residential environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid PSIRA Grade C registration (minimum requirement).
• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum 2 years' security experience.
• Clear criminal record.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physically fit and professionally presented.
• Reliable, honest, and able to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Control access for residents, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to security incidents.
• Complete security registers and incident reports accurately.
• Enforce the Conduct Rules and security procedures.
• Report security risks, maintenance issues, and incidents to the Security Supervisor.
• Assist during emergencies and follow all security procedures.
• Provide professional and courteous service to residents and visitors.

Salary

Will be in accordance with the applicable PSIRA rates.
