Security Officer

SECURITY OFFICER VACANCY

We are looking for professional, disciplined and reliable Security Officers to join our team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct access control and monitor entry and exit points
• Perform regular patrols of the site
• Monitor for suspicious activity, safety risks and security breaches
• Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies
• Report all incidents and irregularities to the control room or supervisor
• Complete occurrence books, registers and incident reports accurately
• Enforce site rules, access procedures and company policies
• Maintain a visible and professional security presence
• Assist residents, clients, visitors and staff in a professional manner
• Protect company and client property at all times

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Valid PSIRA registration – minimum Grade C
• Previous security experience preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to complete basic reports and registers correctly
• Professional appearance and good customer service skills
• Physically fit and able to perform patrol duties
• Reliable, disciplined and punctual
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Clear criminal record
• South African ID or valid documentation permitting employment

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for someone who is alert, responsible and takes pride in their duties. The successful candidate must be proactive, professional and willing to take responsibility for the safety and security of the site.

The position requires someone who understands the importance of vigilance, communication, discipline and following security procedures at all times.

Pay: R5 500,00 - R6 500,00 per month
