Job description

1. Minimum Qualifications:

Matric / Grade 12
PSIRA Registered - Grade B (compulsory)
Valid PSIRA Certificate
Security Management Diploma / Certificate will be an advantage
Valid South African ID and Clear Criminal Record
Valid Driver's Licence
Competence Certificate

2. Experience:

3-5 years experience in security industry
At least 1-2 years as Security Supervisor / Team Leader
Experience in access control, patrolling, incident reporting, guard monitoring
Experience in managing a shift / roster

3. Skills & Requirements:

Strong leadership and ability to supervise a security team
Strong communication skills - English (verbal and written)
Excellent report writing and radio communication
Ability to handle emergencies, conflicts and difficult situations
Knowledge of OHS Act, emergency procedures, and security SOPs
Computer literate
Physically fit and able to work shifts, nights, weekends, public holidays
Must be based in the area of work (e.g. Richards Bay)
High level of integrity, reliability and customer service
