Senior Accountant

Looking for a Senior Accountant, preferably someone who has previous experience in the medical industry and is familiar with NAPPI codes, medical inventory management, and related processes.

Required Experience and Skills

Accounting Responsibilities

• Full financial management and accounting functions up to trial balance.
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable management.
• Bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
• VAT calculations
• Inventory control and reconciliations.
• Financial reporting.
• Year-end preparation and liaison with auditors.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls and internal processes.

Medical Industry Experience

• Previous experience within the medical or healthcare sector.
• Knowledge of NAPPI codes and medical products.

Office Management Responsibilities

• Management of daily office operations.
• Supervision of administrative staff.
• Supplier management and procurement processes.
• Ensuring all administrative functions operate efficiently and effectively.

Software & Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP and accounting systems.
• Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting degree or a similar financial qualification.

Remuneration

• Salary: Market-related and negotiable depending on experience.
• Benefits: Medical Aid and Pension Fund contributions.

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:45

Pay: R30 000,00 - R70 000,00 per hour
