Sales and Commercial Management

• Drive profitable sales of Agri products, including Gluten 20 and Gluten 60.
• Develop and execute customer-specific sales strategies.
• Negotiate customer contracts, pricing agreements, and quarterly volume commitments.
• Maximize product value while protecting market share and customer relationships.
• Monitor sales volumes, revenue performance, and business opportunities.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers.
• Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Resolve customer complaints, quality concerns, service issues, and billing queries.
• Engage with all levels of customer management to improve service delivery and product performance.

Technical Support and Industry Expertise

• Provide expert advice on animal nutrition and feed formulation.
• Assist customers with ration formulation utilizing Agri products.
• Interpret least-cost formulation models to determine market value and pricing strategies.
• Support management with technical and market insights

Industry Representation and Networking

• Represent the company at AFMA technical committee meetings and industry conferences.
• Participate in industry initiatives and projects.
• Build networks with customers, nutritional consultants, traders, and suppliers.

Compliance and Governance

• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.
• Maintain properly executed customer contracts and audit-ready documentation.
• Adhere to company policies and ethical business practices

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

BSc Agriculture (Animal Science/Nutrition) or equivalent qualification

MSc Agriculture specializing in Animal Science/Nutrition (Advantageous)

Experience

Essential

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Animal Nutrition within the agricultural sector.

Advantageous

• At least 1 year of commercial or sales experience.

Knowledge & Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Animal Nutrition.
• Advanced understanding of Linear Least Cost Formulation.
• Feed Formulation experience.
• Sales and Marketing knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent relationship-building and customer engagement skills.
• High levels of integrity and accountability.

Additional Requirements

• Valid Code B Driver's License.
• Computer literacy (MS Office).
• SACNASP registration advantageous.
• Membership with SASAS advantageous
