Senior AI Engineer

We're a fast-growing marketing agency delivering outsourced marketing for small and medium SaaS companies. Our services span SaaS strategy, content, paid ads, lead magnets, and conversion optimisation. With over 50 people across London, South Africa, and Europe, we're an ambitious team passionate about modern demand generation, and we're now building the AI infrastructure to match.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to design and build the AI backbone of our agency. You'll architect and ship AI agents, automated workflows, and intelligent tooling that power both our internal operations and client-facing services.

This is a high-ownership role. You'll work directly with our leadership and marketing teams to identify where AI can drive the most impact - then build it.

WHAT YOU'LL BUILD

• A universal agency LLM — trained on our most successful campaigns — to inform strategy, copy, and creative decisions at scale
• AI agents for internal operations: automating reporting, content production, briefing, and workflow management
• Data pipelines pulling performance data from LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Ads into structured, AI-ready formats
• Content automation systems that generate and optimise marketing assets with minimal human input
• Automated strategy presentation generation, pulling live campaign data into client-ready decks
• Client-facing AI tools and integrations that differentiate our service offering
• Other ad hoc projects

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience building LLM-powered applications and AI agents (LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI or similar)
• Strong Python skills and experience working with APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.)
• Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, and fine-tuning workflows
• Comfortable working with ad platform APIs (Meta, Google, LinkedIn)
• Solid understanding of prompt engineering and LLM evaluation
• Experience deploying AI systems in production environments
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with backend-as-a-service platforms (Supabase, Firebase) or comfort building on Postgres directly — including auth, row-level security, realtime subscriptions, and storage
• Experience optimising LLM cost and latency (caching, model routing, prompt compression)

NICE TO HAVE

• Background in or exposure to marketing, SaaS, or growth contexts
• Experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier)
• Familiarity with data visualisation or BI tooling

Pay: R473 675,52 - R870 000,00 per year
