Senior Delivery/Program Manager (Credit)

iqx the Technology Division of iqbusiness is seeking an experienced Senior Delivery / Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of strategic technology and business transformation initiatives within the Bank's Credit portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale, cross-functional programmes that support credit origination, lending, collections, credit risk, and regulatory initiatives.

This role requires a strong background in banking delivery management, stakeholder engagement, governance, financial management, and Agile delivery practices. The individual will work closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, architects, product owners, vendors, and technology teams to ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic business objectives.

Experience

• 10+ years of Programme or Delivery Management experience.
• 8+ years delivering large-scale banking technology programmes.
• Extensive experience delivering within Credit or Lending environments.
• Experience managing programmes exceeding R50 million.
• Proven experience leading multiple concurrent projects and programmes.
• Strong vendor and third-party management experience.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid environments.
• Experience reporting at Executive Committee level.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Delivery

Lead multiple complex programmes and strategic initiatives across the Credit domain.

Develop and execute programme roadmaps aligned with business strategy.

Manage programme scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.

Ensure successful end-to-end delivery from initiation through implementation and post-production support.

Coordinate multiple delivery teams across business and technology.

Credit Domain Leadership

Drive technology programmes supporting:

Credit Origination

Lending Platforms

Consumer Lending

Business Banking Credit

Loan Management

Credit Decisioning

Credit Scoring

Credit Risk

Collections and Recoveries

Credit Operations

Regulatory Credit initiatives

Ensure delivery aligns with credit policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Management

Build strong relationships with Executive Sponsors and Senior Leadership.

Partner with Business Owners, Product Managers, Architecture, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams.

Manage third-party vendors and delivery partners.

Present programme status, risks, and financial updates to Steering Committees and Executive Forums.

Delivery Governance

Establish programme governance frameworks.

Monitor programme health through KPIs and delivery metrics.

Ensure adherence to PMO standards and delivery methodologies.

Manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).

Drive programme assurance and quality management.
