Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer with a proven track record of providing technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting IT problems, configuring systems, and managing the day-to-day operations of an organization’s IT infrastructure. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, night-shift environment while ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems.
Job Description
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, user profile management, and group policies.
Proficiency with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, ManageEngine).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues independently.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and end-users.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure in a night-shift role.
Basic ITIL and good communication Skills is necessary for the role
Acting as a point of contact to support service users and identify and diagnose issues and problems
Categorize and record reported queries and provide solutions
Escalate, if needed, unresolved problems to a higher level of support
Provide essential online security advise and support
Receives and handles requests for service, following agreed procedures
Promptly allocates calls as appropriate
Logs Incidents and Service Requests and maintains relevant records
Identifies and classifies incident types and service interruptions
Records Incidents cataloguing them by symptom and resolution
Acts under guidance to record and track reliability data for your services
Delivering Customer Services through multiple channels including human, digital, self-service and automated
