Requirements

Post 1: Senior Environmental Professional

Requirements:

• A Relevant Degree in Environmental Management,

Environmental Sciences, Environmental Planning or related

qualification

• Post Graduate Qualification linked to the above will be

deemed advantageous.

• A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in environmental

management or related field.

• The administration and regulation of environmental

procedures, standards and related legislative requirements

is preferred.

• Supervisory experience deemed beneficial.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of environmental

legislation and practice, together with appropriate skills to

ensure integration with related disciplines

• Computer proficiency in MS Office.
• A valid Code EB Driver’s licence.
• Registration with the South African Council for Planners

(SACPLAN) and/or International Association for Impact

Assessment (IAIA) would be advantageous.

Post 2: Environmental Professional

Requirements

• Relevant 3 Year Tertiary Qualification in Environmental

Management, Environmental Sciences, Environmental

Planning or related qualification

• A minimum of three years’ relevant experience
• Sound knowledge of environmental legislation and practices; -

Proficiency in MS Office; and

• Valid code B drivers’ licence.
